Hunger Program

Since 1984, NCJW NY’s Hunger Program has helped feed countless New Yorkers. The weekly Food Pantry provides a three-day supply of groceries to families in need, including fresh produce, dairy from local farms, and shelf-stable foods. The twice-weekly Community Kitchen provides freshly prepared, ready to eat meals to any and all who need it. In the last year, we served 235,000 meals to nearly 33,000 New Yorkers, including 5,800 children.
