Across the country, lawmakers are restricting people’s rights and freedoms, including the right to abortion. Here in New York, we have the unique opportunity to enshrine abortion rights into our state constitution so that they are permanently protected, and not vulnerable to shifting political winds.
Join NCJW NY and Jews for Repro NY in our campaign to support the New York State Equal Rights Amendment ballot measure! The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) will be on the ballot in November 2024 and if approved, will be added to the New York State Constitution. No New Yorker should ever be discriminated against by the government, no matter who we are, whom we love, whether we have a disability, or whether we decide to have an abortion.
