The Eleanor Leff Jewish Women’s Resource Center, a project of the National Council of Jewish Women New York, is pleased to announce its forthcoming Conference: Women Adapting to Change: Financial, Social, and Legal Matters, which will focus on the life adjustments women need to make as they age. Setting the stage for this important and exciting event, the Conference will be introduced by acclaimed author and activist, Ashton Applewhite. Ms. Applewhite’s latest book, This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Ageism, has received rave reviews — described by her peers as vibrant, fact-filled, and visionary. Following Ms. Applewhite, each of the speakers will individually address one of our three Conference topics. Ample time has been set aside for questions and answers.
